Random

Finally, it comes to the weekend. Fortunately, there are not much assignments and homework as the calculus test had just over and most of the online problem sets had been submitted. Indeed, there are, which mostly due on next week, but whoever knows me well will definitely know that I will not start working on them in such a great pace. How lazy am I! I am not that hardworking man. When will I be motivated by my friends? I think this will be an unanswered question until the midterm approaches. Likewise, the worse is that I am not a bright student. Maybe it's the time for me to make a change.

I read Zhen Long's blog and realized that his laptop was stolen. >>IN RIDZUAN<< Aww..Again...Break- in case in RIDZUAN has been occurring frequently, yet there isn't any security enhancement taken by the condominium authority. In RIDZUAN, we had heard numerous break-in cases. I feel fortnate as I was not one of the victim. However, myhousemate, Jun Sian had a unlucky time. His laptop was being stolen in RIDZUAN, only realized when we were back from calculus test in Taylor. And, coinciddentzally:
1) Both long and my housemate rushed on their assignment in the previous night
and left the laptop outside the rooms.
2) Their laptop brand is DELL
I can see how frust Jun Sian was that time. Pity him. Thus I can imagine how frust was long too. Btw, glad that long has bought a new laptop. Cool! BEWARE in RIDZUAN!

Talk about my dining in UBC pula. Here, there are no mamak stalls or burger stalls at night. And the we usually have our dinner around 6pm. Oh swt. when it comes to 10pm at night, I feel hungry again. But, there isn't any eatry available! Oh ya, there's a benefit staying in RIDZUAN. BURGER delivary... So so so convenient. Therefore, all of us did a crazy purchase of Instance mee and biscuits in Metrotown.

Purchased food in Metrotown

Full load of MAGGI n biscuit + Ovaltine!

GIGANTIC bowl specially for MAGGI

Guess that I will mati kongdiao in the long run, eating these health deteriorating food.

And, there will be another new experience for me: clubbing night.
This event is organised by Seri Malaysia Club and will be held at downtown Vancouver. In Taylor, pitifully I never try going club for once. What a shame.. However, some regular clubbers claimed that there's no as much fun as expected, while there's a contradiction that those clubs are fully 'occupied' by those clubbing lovers during weekends. Amongst my friends, i think there will be only few of us going, which are most probably kacai, boonping, me, snail, n puiman. sWt lor...there are 27 jpa scholars in ubc.

5/27*100 = 16%

LoL

The event will be held on OCT 24, which is next saturday. The price for each ticket is $8, and there will be complimentary beverage before 10pm. The most significant point is that the club is named similar to my name, which is AuBAR. HaHa. Hope that it will be a great experience for me.

Yeah my last name is there

The other side

Stop right here le. Until pen meets again. Just kidding. This is the quote from our English tuition teacher, Ms Audrey. It's time to study the textbook. Recently, I really dunoe the lecturers ngap mat chun, especially in physic class. Others are still ok lar.

Another trip

Wow. It was just the day after the Grandville Island trip. My friends Cai Jui and Boon Ping were planning to visit English Bay ( not sure is it the name ) with their IPP group. Here came the opportunity to explore the other parts of Vancouver. I decided to join the trip with my roommate, Ka Chai although both of us were not in their IPP group. We gathered at SUB at 2pm and found that they were only four other members besides 4 of us. Such a dissappointment. However, all of us will anticipate for the great time at the bay. After a long bus trip, we reached our destination.

We had some activities at the bay. American football was not a really good choice, which was suggested by the group leader. Well, 4 of the Msian, include me were very 'dulan' of him. His appearance and attitude showed how nerd is him. Sad, a forth year engineering student. First, he did not wait for us along the journey. He kept speeding ahead, din't ever bother our appearance. Second, he suggested American football game which we are not familir with and eventually we decided to have a soccer game. Here's his quote: "Guys, do u all still remeber the peer's rule? No goalies are allowed". In the mean time, he showed a strict face. WTF IS GOING ON? SOCCER IS FORBIDDENED TOO? Boon Ping was more dulan den me and omost argued with him. Luckily, nth happened. Other 3 members are unlike the leader and they are good buddies. The Indonesian guy, who I 4gt the name, did the simplest job, yeah he did wait for us when we were left bhind. N the two gals, "绿茶" (is pronounced similarly to this sound) from India and Amanda are friendly too. The matter was just the leader! LOL.

Another Port Dickson?

And. we finally made our way back. Before that, we purchased Starbuck Blended Frapucinno. WOW! It quenched our thirst. By the time we reach Totem, it was already 6pm. In short, the trip was awesome but I need to mention again that the leader was really sux and spoilt our mood.

That night, I did my laundry before suffering for the Mastering Physic problem set which dued on the next day. After the 2 days trip, I was abit exhausted. Well, and that midnight I viewed all my friends in facebook. And suddenly, I have weird feeling which could not be described. For wat reason, I really don't know.

Its some kinda of GGing..

frust....

IPP rocks

What is IPP? IPP stands for international peer program. When I first arrived in Canada, my friends and I registered for this program. Indeed, it was a right choice to register for this program as there will be trips organized to numerous attractions in Vancouver. Else, we will be trapped in UBC and life becomes dull and meaningless. Here's my group : Sunset Beach !

Sunset Beach

Last Saturday, we had a trip to Grandville Island. Before this, there was a trip to Richmond summer night market, unfortunately I could not make it. Sux. It was a rainy day. N the worst is I forgot my umbrella! It was cold and I felt that I was eligible to be addressed as 'Orang Kuat' as I was the only one who was not carrying an umbrella, without shivering. swt. We had a mini ferry trip to the island, which cost $2.50 for <5 minute. Once we were there, Our group leader, Kartika Kepper brought as to Cat Meow's eatery for lunch. At the entrance, I know GG ady. I would sure pokai after d lunch. However, everything have to be tried.

Part of the group

After the lunch which took us 2++ hours, we went to the public market. Swt, the goods there are so expensive man. We walked around realized that:
1) The market is much more cleaner den the markets in Malaysia
2)The stalls are erected in better order than in Malaysia
3)Civilians can enjoy sea view behind the market. ~Tranquil~
4)All things are XXL sized (crabs, sausage...)

nice

Seafood

Big mou?

The sea is just behind the market. It is a great place. I could observe how the families and the old civilians enjoy their life. It was a totally different feeling that I don't have in Malaysia, when I saw the scene.

Great

Cute

Yeah

Cheer

After visiting the market, we headed back to UBC. Although it was merely a dinner and a visit to the market, I was satisfied because it was a great experience for me, which I don't agree with some of my friends who say those activities and trips are sort of wasting time. We should try everything that is approachable in Vancouver, make journeys to different parts in Vancouver. Else, how would be our life? Completing the homework and preparing for the tests? I would not adapt to these routines.

By the way, I really miss Malaysia. This is undeniable.

Depress...

It is 5.50pm now. I am still struggling for the lab experiment design form. 10 minutes before now, I called my mother. The local time in Malaysia is 8.40am, Sunday. There, my family, far away from me, were preparing for going for breakfast. If I was there, surely I am the last person who is awoke by my mother to preparing for breakfast outside. I miss those moments...
My mum told that she would not go to my grandma's house to chat with me using web cam. sWt. The worse is my dad ask me to be brave enough to know more hong kong girls. WTH. As there was delay for them to received my message through phone call, the conversation last for 10 minutes, not more than that. Now I have a sense of weird feeling, especially when listening to the song played by my roommate. Is it the symbol of culture-shock or homesickness? I hope it was not.....

ar..my mum..my family..my bed

Anticipation for the summer breaK

Sienz!

LOL. what to write!?!? University life is boring man. Sien luo.. Burden of homework although it is just the second week. Despite the self-torturing homework, my leisure activities are playing Gunbound and doing gym. Sien mou..

My new favourite game (goodbye to dOTa)

Gunbound is incredibly cool and possesses the power to attract me to indulge in this "childish" game. It had been 4-5 years since the last time I became a Gunbound player. Specially acknowledge yx for becoming the one who first brought the trend of playing gunbound and taught me the skills (although he was not really good in it. skl guy.lol )

These will certainly make u sweat

麻雀虽小,五脏俱全

The treadmill

Gym! Gym! Gym! It is a place for men to maintain our body fitness besides forming muscular and well-built bodies. Sounds easy right! However, it does take time and requires our persist determination to plan a weekly, monthly, or even yearly schedule before the distinct impacts can be observed and hence we will surely feel overjoyed of the result. For me, I have endured a painstaking week, that's doing gym daily with my friend, Boon Ping (0thers would just stay in room.. For what? eg. sleeping?chatting?PornographING?maybe..). Sincerely hope that they will join us too. By right, we are YOUNG MEN!!! rite? Now, when I look at my arm, I do not observe any distinct changes. There's neither sign of growing muscle nor increasing of veins. LOL. Desperate! Haha it had been only 1 week time of practising gym. I vow to maintain the frequence of doing gym..probably for the next few months, or even the next year. Yes! I can do it!

Ramadan?!

Yiak! Sux!

How to survive?

Randomness

Usually, after doing gym, we will straight go to the dining hall upstairs to have our dinner. In my recent post, I have told how sux the food is. Haiz.. Above are just a few pictures of them. There' s still 1 year to go man! Sienzz. Besides, we always spot Asians on other tables. Are they suffering too? LOL. Woot. Some of the Asian girls look beautiful..When can I have my meal on the same table with them? Hehe. Man man deng lar.

Hmm.. nothing else to be written. It's 3.04am. Tomorrow is a worse day when I have to rush on my Chem lab assignment, calculus assignment, and reading of globalization articles. Sien!

Sad...

Bud Itchy Open Blog!?!

It has been 2 weeks since my arrival in Vancouver, BC. The main thing that meets my satisfactory is the internet service provided in my new home, Totem Park Nootka House. I still remember the 3 months in my house without internet connection, when I could only hold my PSP in my hands and occasionally went to the adjacent cyber cafe, not for dOTa, juz for browsing my mailbox and UBC SSC. Well. Now the laptop is constantly placed on my study table, connected to the internet.WOW! Faster then Malaysia d connection (before the arrival of all residents. loL). BUTZ, surprisingly, sitting in front of my laptop, I could hardly think of wat to be done by using internet. SWT. No dOTa, no DL, wats my entertainment! Sien dao. Oh ya. I wonder why all my friends r so addicted in blogging..Taylor's frens, secondary skul frens.. clicking all my frens' blogs in diff tabs, only realize I m not aware of everything hapened around me. Suddenly, my bud itchy....here's come my blog. LOL..
